Typical System for Packaging Applications Consists of the following:
Adhesive Supply Unit- Size of the melter is determined by the application; higher speeds or higher use needs a large melter
Heated Hose Assembly- High Pressure Heated Hose transfer melted hot melt from melter to applicator. Length of hose and number of hoses determined by specific application
Hot Melt Applicator- High Speed Heated Valves that dispense hot melt adhesive in a precise and repeatable manner
Pattern Controller-Either a time-based or distance-based Computer that takes inputs from the parent machine to fire the applicator(s) in a proscribed manner.
